Combining classical technique with folk, gypsy and jazz fiddle styles, Basia is known for her expressive and versatile playing and warm and distinct violin sound.
She has performed in some of London’s most prestigious venues including, among others: The Roundhouse, Forum, Ronnie Scott’s, Purcell Room, King’s Place, Royal Academy of Music, Elgar Room at Royal Albert Hall, Union Chapel, and has toured extensively across Europe and the UK with her various projects.
After years of intense recording and gigging schedules, Basia embarks on a new, independent path with her own solo project.
Her first single ‘A Girl At Dusk’ (translated as 'Zachodźże SÅ‚oneczko’ in Polish) was recorded with renowned folk musician and producer Ben Walker in Brighton and will be released in June 2020.
She is planning on sharing more of her music and thoughts here.
